| A: To sign up, click on the ‘Register’ link located on the top left hand corner of any page or just follow this link. Registering is easy and will only take a minute of your time. You must supply a valid email address and create a user name and password. |
| Q: I have forgotten my password, what should I do? |
| A: You can request your password by providing your user name and the password will be sent to the email address you provided during registration. |
| Q: What are the benefits of becoming a member? |
| A: Oz Property Listings provides a member area where you can manage all aspects of your listing. Some features of the member area include:
- Edit all details about your listing including price, description, contact details, features, address details, password etc;
- A Mailbox where you can view and write messages to users who have enquired about your property;
- A Forum where you can swap information and ideas about buying, selling, renting or sharing property;
- Statistics such as the number of hits etc;
- Upload and change your photos and video at any time;
- Preview your listing;
- Remove your listing from our database if required.

| Q: How can I place a property advertisement? |
| A: If you are not a registered user, please create a new account and log in. Then select the type of ad you want to place e.g Rent, Buy etc from the left hand menu. Then click the "add new property" link. You will get a new page to add the listing details. |
| Q: Can I advertise my property through the Oz Property Listings site if I am selling through an agent? |
| A: Yes, you can still advertise your property on the Oz Property Listings site. If you have listed your property through a real estate agent, you will need to specify the agent’s name and contact details when you create your property listing. We can also provide direct links to your agent’s web site and phone number so prospective buyers deal directly with your agent and not you personally.

| Q: How can I make changes to my listing after I have submitted it? |
| A: You may edit or remove your property listing at anytime for free using the user name and password assigned to you when you first registered. |
| Q: How do I search for properties? |
| A: You can search for a property using the Property Search bar (located on the Rent, Buy or Share pages). You can search by Property Type, Region, Suburb, State, Postcode, Price, or number of Bedrooms, Bathrooms and Garages. You do not need to complete all the search fields - you can be as general or as specific as you like in your search. You will then be presented with a thumbnail (i.e. summary listings) page of all the properties that meet your search criteria. |
| Q: Why can’t I find any properties when I do a search? |
| A: It is possible that there are no properties listed that match your search criteria. There may be no properties for sale in that suburb, or there may be no agent in that suburb that is using to advertise their properties. Conduct a broader search by deleting some of your search specifics. |
| Q: Who will see my listing and how do they contact me? |
| A: Your listing will be visible to anyone who performs a search on our site. Individuals may contact you via the phone numbers on your listing, or by email which will be linked from your ad (buyers will not see your email address however). |
